The Peenya Industries Association (PIA), in collaboration with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), organized an interactive session for its members on the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) at the PIA Auditorium.
The event created awareness about the government’s employment generation initiatives and to facilitate industry participation in strengthening India’s workforce.
The Chief Guest, Smt. Shobha Karandlaje, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) and Labour & Employment, Government of India, graced the occasion and addressed the gathering on the importance of MSMEs in nation-building and employment generation.
The session was presided over by Shri D. P. Danappa, President of PIA, who highlighted the association’s ongoing efforts to support industrial growth and collaboration with government bodies for the benefit of its members.
Also present on the dais were Shri Patil D. H., Senior Vice President, Shri Chandrashekar M., Vice President, Shri Beerappa B., Hon. Secretary, Shri Thimmaiah B., Joint Secretary, Shri A. P. Selvakumar, Treasurer, Shri M. R. Rangaswamy, Joint Treasurer, and Shri Meenesh Kumar S., PIA Panel Chairman for ESI, PF, and Labour Committee.
The program saw enthusiastic participation from PIA members, past presidents, and committee members who actively engaged in discussions and shared insights on employment-related schemes and industrial challenges.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, reaffirming PIA’s commitment to promoting industrial welfare, employment generation, and sustainable growth in the Peenya Industrial Cluster — one of the largest SME hubs in South East Asia.
